Matthew Krause served as Director of Strength & Conditioning for 21 seasons in Professional Baseball (MLB) for the New York Yankees, Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs.
In transitioning from Professional Sports, Krause accepted a position on the advisory board for ONEsource™ Optimal Nutrition where he learned all aspects of formulating and manufacturing Shelf-Stable Milk beverages from Expert Beverage Formulator Kyle Knight. Mr. Knight learned how to formulate beverages while working with the inventor of Gatorade, Robert Cade.
After learning the value of Shelf-Stable Milk, Krause decided to start the OnMilk™ product line. In getting the OnMilk™ brand off the ground, Krause landed his first contract with Operation BBQ Relief (OBR) organization which is a national Disaster Relief Meal program serving millions of meals nationwide to those in need. Due to the Covid-19 National Emergency, OnMilk™ and OBR feed over 450,000 people in need in the state of Pennsylvania. OBR taught Mr. Krause the importance of helping those in need during times of crisis. During this time, Krause started the DONATE OnMilk™ program where corporations can send OnMilk™ products to their local food banks to participate in this social responsibility program.
Krause designed OnMilk™ products to become the Premier Disaster Relief Shelf Stable milk for when Mother Nature Strikes. OnMilk™ Lactose Free Milk provides a quality shelf stable milk that ensures quality nutrition for all victims and volunteers.
Krause always wanted to maintain a relationship with the Strength & Conditioning Community, so he starts the “Getting Kids OnMilk™” Strength and Speed Youth camps.
“Getting Kids OnMilk™” was a great way to complement Krause’s background in Strength & Conditioning along with Youth Fitness Programs to spread a positive message of Drinking Milk. ONEsource nutrition will be the optimal choice for all youth sports tournaments. The 27 drinks in a case that needs NO refrigeration can be stored in the hotel or car will provide the team with recovery needed in between games to win.
MLB CAREER
- Krause served six seasons as the Yankees’ Director of Strength and Conditioning( 2014-2019)
- spent 11 seasons with Cincinnati (2003-13), including nine as their Major League strength and conditioning coordinator (2005-13)
- American League Strength representative for the 2015 MLB All-Star Game in Cincinnati
- named the 2013 “Nolan Ryan - Hammer Strength” Strength Coach of the Year, the award honors the outstanding Strength and Conditioning Coach in professional baseball whose accomplishments, in the opinion of peers, reflect an exemplary dedication to strength and conditioning
- Reds organization’s minor league strength and conditioning coordinator from 2003-04
- Three years in the Pirates organization, serving as the minor league strength and conditioning coordinator from 2001-02
- Single-A Hickory strength coach in 2000
- Chicago Cubs as an intern with Single-A Daytona in 1999
EDUCATION
- Earned his master’s degree in physical education and wellness from the University of Central Florida in 1999
- Bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science from East Carolina University in 1997
